Education:
I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Music degree. I am most of the way through my Masters Degree in Music Education at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
Teaching Background:
I have taught high school choir, theater and music history and I now teach elementary school music.
Favorite Subjects in School:
Music, Science and Reading

3 cats...Hootie, Nora, & Lyla
Family:
I am married and I have one daughter, Hannah. My parents and my sister live in California.
What I do other than teach:
I am the Director of Music at a local church. There I direct the adult choir, the handbell choir and the Praise Team/Band.
I am also a member of the Metropolitan Bell Ensemble, where I get to play handbells with many wonderful musicians.
I like to go to California to spend time with my family. When I am out there, I enjoy hiking and tidepooling.
The rest of my time is spent playing with Hannah!
